DelAys in TIA Evaluation and Service - our flagship neurological study
This upcoming study will focus on the timing and delivery of TIA (transient ischaemic attack) clinics. This patient group are at a high risk of subsequent stroke and mortality. Timely assessment and management is necessary, however its delivery varies across the UK and Ireland.
We will begin recruiting centres, centre leads and supervising consultants in 2024. Look out for details to sign up!
SINO
Surgical Site Infection in Craniotomy for Neuro-Oncology- our flagship neurosurgical study
SINO is our latest international service evaluation. This project aims to shed light on the prevalence and risk factors of surgical site infection in neuro-oncological surgery.
The collaborative authorship model will be employed ensuring that every contributing member will fall within the NANSIG Group authorship. This provides greater weight than the traditional 'collaborator' model. Details on recruitment for local leads is coming soon!
